I love the choice of inks on this poster. Plus, the type is really nice.
One of Jan Tschichold’s original sketches for the famous Penguin Books cover design. I was tickled when I came across this image, because I’m researching Tschichold for one of my classes, and making full-size hand-drawn thumbnail sketches for another. This is a beautiful example of how to do it right.
